The Priority Populations that will be served include the following:
- Seniors 65 years of age and older and,
- Seniors 65 years of age and older (households with minor children 17 years old and younger)
- Medically Homebound individuals under 65 years old, with a REQUIRED Doctor’s note
Required Documents are Needed (Paper copies are needed):
- Valid Applicant ID (Driver’s License, Passport, State-issued ID)
- Proof of income for the last 30 days (e.g., 2025 Award letter for seniors)
- Social Security card for all household members
- Most recent utility bills (Gas and Electric)
To avoid delays in the application process please bring ALL the required documents.
All applicants must sign their application. If a Signature Authorization letter is provided, the designated individual must present a valid ID to sign their own name on behalf of the applicant. The designated individual submits the REQUIRED documents of the applicant.
Income Guidelines have changed. See the FY 2025 LIHEAP Income Levels.
*If the energy bill has a credit amount of $1,000 or more – No assistance can be provided.
