LIHEAP Cooling Season: Energy Assistance for Your Gas/Electric Bill
Partnership for Community Action (PCA) staff will be taking applications for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) at the Lou Walker Senior Center, 2538 Panola Road, Stonecrest, Georgia 30058 from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Friday April 24, 2026
FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
The Priority Populations that will be served include the following:
- Seniors 65 years of age and older and,
- Seniors 65 years of age and older (households with minor children 17 years old and younger)
- Medically Homebound individuals under 65 years old, with a REQUIRED Doctor’s note

MARTA Reach is an on-demand, curb-to-curb micro transit service launching March 7, 2026, in 12 designated Atlanta zones. Operating 18 hours/day, 7 days/week, this service uses accessible vans to bridge the first/last mile by connecting riders to buses and rail.
Topic Highlights:
- MARTA REACH and courtesy services extended thru May 2nd
- Better Breeze – Newly Reduced Fare Program
- MARTA Mobility and new NextGen Bus System
