LITHONIA, Ga. – DeKalb for Seniors, Inc., the fundraising arm of the Lou Walker Senior Center (LWSC), invites the public to its upcoming annual event, Mardi Gras Bling! Bling!, on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 6 to 10 p.m. in LWSC’s Victory Room, located at 2538 Panola Road in Lithonia.
The Mardi Gras-themed fundraiser is an elegant evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment. Guests will enjoy a Mardi Gras-inspired dinner buffet and libations, and a King and Queen will be presented. Ladies and gentleman are invited to dress to impress and bring their best masks. Tickets are available for purchase from the Lou Walker Gift Shop or at the door.
Net proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to ensure continuous programming for LWSC members.
LWSC is a multipurpose facility for active seniors age 55 and older. The 40,000-square-foot facility offers space and amenities to meet the needs and interests of today’s active older adults. The architectural structure of the facility and programming stimulate the mind and body to remain active.
